The Cure Porch on wheels has Windows!

Historic Saranac Lake is excited to announce that the Cure Porch on Wheels windows have been installed! The custom mahogany windows were created and installed by Blue Moon Builders. Blue Moon Builders owner Mike Mahoney modeled these sliding windows off of cure porch windows in Saranac Lake. Windows have always been a trade mark feature of Saranac Lake's ubiquitous cure porch, and Mike, an expert builder with a keen eye for architectural detail, has ensured that the Cure Porch on Wheels maintains historical accuracy down to the smallest detail. As an architectural preservation organization, HSL hopes that this celebration of local architecture will encourage owners of cure cottages to preserve the original features of their homes.
